Invest for Humanity Broncos Football Fundraiser
Greetings Everyone, Broncos Time!
First, I will like to say Thank you for helping out my organization for the Broncos Football season. Your willingness to show up at short notice to cook meals, clean, and help with the register is great .
Robert D. Plowden
Robert D. Plowden is the founder and President of Invest for Humanity. Mr. Deshields -Plowden is a champion for education he was name Teacher of the year, District Distinguished Minority Educator of the year, and received Veteran of Foreign Post 8058 Teacher Award during his career in education.
Robert formed this organization following a discussion in his civics class where he and students talk about how can we eliminate barriers in our society so everyone can become successful productive citizen in our world today. After this discussion with his students, this influence Robert to immediately formed the 501(c)3 organization in order to help promote, empower and develop our society we must provide resources and create an atmosphere to inspire all ages to excel and reach their highest potential.
Robert has received his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Public Administration from Florida A&M University and a Master’s in Educational Leadership at Nova Southeastern University. Mr. Deshields -Plowden said “Teaching has opened his eyes and has provided him with a desire to be an educational tour guide promoting self-awareness and to promote self-enrichment. He does believe that every day he should be an example of and always autograph his work with excellence.”
S. L. Sands is an educator with six years of successful teaching experience. She holds professional teacher certification in Georgia and Florida in the subjects of General Science and Exceptional Student Education. She also serves as Site Coordinator for an afterschool tutoring and arts enrichment program for underprivileged students.
Mrs. Sands received her Bachelor’s degree from Florida Atlantic University and her Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University. She has enormous passion and enthusiasm for teaching and inspiring students to realize their full potential in order to become successful – academically, emotionally, and socially – both in school and in life.

Ernestine Mitchell is an advocate, mentor, and an avid supporter of community initiatives. She has an undeniable love and passion for serving her community and assisting those that are in need.
Ms. Mitchell received her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Florida A&M University and a Master’s in Public Administration at Texas Southern University. Currently, serving as Vice President of the Taylor County Leadership Council, Ms. Mitchell has also served as Secretary for I AM THE CHANGE, Inc. and has been a member of the School Advisory Council.
With an unyielding determination for success, Ms. Mitchell credits her continuing progress to the support she receives from her family and friends.
Currently, Brandon Moton is a second year Doctor of Public Health Student at Florida A&M University. Mr. Moton is a graduate of the Masters of Public Health program with a concentration in Health Policy and Management at Florida A&M University Institute of Public Health in Tallahassee, Florida. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Interdisciplinary Social Science from Florida State University.
Broadly, Brandon researches human trafficking, sexual health disparities and adolescent health. His goal is to examine the impact of sexual education on sexual health risk behavioral outcomes among adolescents in the state of Florida.
His ultimate goal is to reduce the research-to-practice gap in order to support improved health outcomes among adolescents by applying evidence-based programs.
